User role configuration
Configuring roles is necessary for the user to enable the functionality of the personal account for working with digital marking and forming operations with codes, product descriptions, and orders for obtaining marking codes. After registration, the User will be assigned the role "Default Role" and "Administrator". The remaining roles must be added manually. Adding roles is done in the “User Settings” → “Roles” section.
Detailed steps are described in the article: xTrace: User Profile - Assigning a Role to a User
Adding trusted users
The personal account allows adding Personal Account Users with the necessary roles. You can add trusted Users in the “Organization Settings” → “Users” section.

❗️ Each User can have only one valid API key.
Detailed steps are described in the article: xTrace: User Profile – API Key Creation
Creating product descriptions
To obtain marking codes, it is necessary to first describe the products — create a product card that will be subject to marking. Creating product cards is done in the “Product Description” section.
A GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) is required to create a product card. GTIN is assigned by the GS1 Association:
-
Local manufacturers must obtain a GTIN from the GS1 Uzbekistan Association.
For GTINs with the prefix 478 (Uzbekistan), product descriptions can be created only after registering the organization's prefix in the digital marking system. Prefix registration is performed by the Marking System Operator. To register a prefix, send a request to the support service and attach a document from GS1 Uzbekistan confirming the assignment of the prefix to the organization or the product GTIN. -
Importers indicate the GTIN assigned by the manufacturer of the imported product.
Information on such products is verified using the International GS1 Association registry, as well as photo content uploaded to the product card.
Detailed steps are described in the article: xTrace: Example of product card filling
Activation of the agreement with the Operator (for issuers)
To obtain marking codes, issuers must go through the procedure of activating the agreement and personal account. Activation is performed by the Digital Marking System Operator.
To obtain the agreement and activate the personal account, you must send a request to the support service.
Replenishing the personal account
Payment for marking codes is made by generating a bank payment order.
