Aggregated Import Code (AIC) is a unique digital code generated by the digital marking operator for each individual batch of marked goods for the purpose of customs clearance and processing of customs procedures.
The AIC is generated by the Asl Belgisi National Information System (NIS) upon the importer’s request and represents a unique sequence of characters (25 digits) consisting of three groups of data:
The first group of data consists of 14 digits and contains the importer’s TIN (for legal entities, in this case it is supplemented with leading zeros up to 14 digits) or the importer’s PINFL (for individual entrepreneurs);
The second group of data consists of 6 digits and represents the date of generation of the aggregated import code by the operator (in the format DDMMYY);
The third group of data consists of 5 digits (numbers) that are automatically generated by the operator in an arbitrary (usually sequential) order of assignment and ensure the uniqueness of the aggregated import code.
Example: 0000030779729213102200004, where:
- 307797292 – TIN of the importer who received the AIC code;
- 1210222 – date of generation of the AIC code – October 12, 2022;
- 4 – sequential number of the AIC code.
⚠️ For the product groups “Medicinal Products” and “Medical Devices,” before forming the AIC, it is necessary to perform a preliminary transfer of codes to the organization that will carry out the AIC formation. The transfer is executed through the “Request for Code Transfer” functionality. In addition, it is recommended to disband all AICs whose codes are not planned to be cleared through customs by the end of the day on 28.11.2025, in order to avoid errors and delays in further processing.
To proceed to the “AIC Registration” creation window, you need to:
