Manufacturer Company Prefix

In the digital designation of a barcode, the first 6-9 digits represent the code of the regional GS1 association (registrar) where the product manufacturer is registered.

Example:

When registering with the GS1 Association Uzbekistan, the enterprise receives an official Certificate assigning a 9-digit GCP identification number — the GS1 Company Prefix — and a Global Location Number (GLN).
