The information is indicated on the product packaging and in the accompanying documentation (technical passport, supply contract, etc.).

Example:

Medicinal products - information is provided in the drug's instructions for use.
Tobacco products - information is indicated on the packaging, either on the outside or inside of the product. 
Alcoholic and beer products - information is indicated on the label.
Household appliances - information is provided in the warranty card.
