⚠️ HS Code (Reference Value, Mandatory)

From the dropdown list/directory, you need to select the ten-digit HS code corresponding to the marked product.

HS Code - a ten-digit classification code of the product according to the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, used in customs operations within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The code structure is based on the decimal system and includes:

First 2 digits Group 22 - Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages...
First 4 digits Commodity position 2204 - Natural grape wines, including fortified wines
First 6 digits Subposition 2204 10 - Sparkling wines
First 9 digits Sub-subposition 2204 10 940 - With protected geographical indication...
All 10 digits HS Code 2204 10 940 1 - With an actual alcohol concentration of at least 8.5% vol.

The names of sections, groups, commodity positions, subpositions, and sub-subpositions are provided only for ease of use of the HS; for legal purposes, the classification of goods in the HS is carried out by the 10-digit HS code.

By the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-460 dated 28.12.2022, starting from January 1, 2023, the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan version 2022 was enacted, developed based on the updated Harmonized System of Description and Coding of Goods.

How to find out the HS code - it is indicated in the certificate of conformity issued for the product.

If the certificate of conformity was not issued and/or the product is not subject to mandatory certification, you can inquire about the HS code from the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan: www.singlewindow.uz.
