❓ Is it allowed to manufacture and import medicinal products in previously approved layouts despite the existence of new approved layouts with identification means?

    First of all, it is important to determine which group the Medicinal products and medical devices subject to mandatory digital labeling belong to, according to Appendix №1 in PCM 149 dated 02.04.2022, since each group has its own specific start date for mandatory labeling.

     The answer to this question is also described in several points of PCM №149 dated 02.04.2022 itself, namely: in points 3 and 2 of Appendix №7, but the most detailed answer can rightfully be considered point 4 of Appendix №7, paragraph "b":

"Take note that during the phased transition to the process of digital labeling of medicinal products, within 180 calendar days from the date of introduction of the procedure for mandatory digital labeling of medicinal products with a previously approved packaging and labeling scheme, their import is allowed.

At the same time, it should be taken into account that the sale of previously certified medicinal products without digital labeling is allowed until the expiration of their validity period, but not more than 3 years."
