When creating a product card, additional confirmation of the GTIN (barcode) may be required if the barcode on the product is damaged, unrecognizable, it is impossible to clearly determine which product the barcode belongs to based on the photo content, or if the authenticity of the provided information is in doubt.
In such cases, the confirming document or screenshot must be uploaded to the "Technical File" section of the product card. This information will be available for viewing by the product card owner and the moderator.
The barcode (GTIN) is assigned to the manufacturer or importer of the product by the GS1 Association. This code is registered in the international product database and is mandatory for creating a product card in the Register of Marked Goods, as well as for ordering marking codes.
The requirements for the volume and composition of product information are established by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 833 dated 31.12.2020 (Chapter 5).
