NPA: Laws on mandatory digital labeling of products in Uzbekistan

A pilot project for the phased implementation of the labeling procedure and further tracking of goods through identification means for domestic producers and importers was carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 944 dated November 23, 2019 "On measures for the phased implementation of the procedure for labeling products through identification and further tracking".

Mandatory labeling applies to:

Tobacco
Alcohol
Beer
Household and other appliances
Medicinal products
Water and drinks
Mineral fertilizers and agents for plant protection

The introduction of labeling is regulated by law.
