GS1 Uzbekistan

GS1 Uzbekistan is a member of the International GS1 Barcode Association and has represented it in Uzbekistan since 1998. 

The main focus of GS1 Uzbekistan is the development and implementation of the international GS1 standards system, which includes automatic identification and barcode labeling of products, electronic data exchange and synchronization, as well as providing practical assistance to member enterprises of the association.

What role does GS1 Uzbekistan play in the labeling system?

Only at GS1 Uzbekistan can a product manufacturer obtain a GTIN - the product code in the international product database, without which it is impossible to create a product card in the Register of Labeled Products and order labeling codes. 

An Agreement on information exchange about association members and their manufactured products has been concluded between LLC "CRPT TURON" and the GS1 Uzbekistan Association.

Within the framework of the agreement, the parties exchange data on product barcoding in accordance with the international standards of the GS1 Automatic Identification Association. 

This information is used to identify products and register them in the Register of Labeled Products, which is part of the digital labeling and product traceability information system of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Asl Belgisi".
