Aggregation: Step-by-Step Process – Water and Soft Drinks

The start of mandatory aggregation for the first group of water and soft drinks is set for November 1, 2024, in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 631 dated 01.11.2022 (as amended by No. 269 dated 30.06.2023).

Aggregation requirements:

According to the Regulation on labeling of water and beverages (Annex 5 to Resolution No. 631), manufacturers and importers must perform aggregation of marked products:

  • individual packages into grouped packages

  • grouped packages into transport packaging (pallets)
    This is specified in clause 26 of the Regulation.

Aggregation must be performed up to the pallet level.

What codes are used for grouped and transport packaging?

Grouped packaging:

  1. Obtain a GTIN for grouped packaging through GS1 Uzbekistan (if not available)

  2. Register the GTIN in the Product Labeling System (RMT)

  3. Request marking codes in ASL BELGISI (IZKM module – code ordering)

  4. Submit a marking report in ASL BELGISI

  5. Submit an aggregation report in ASL BELGISI

Transport packaging:

  1. Generate an SSCC code using GS1-compliant open tools

  2. Submit an aggregation report using the SSCC code in ASL BELGISI

Cost of marking codes:

According to Resolution No. 833 dated 31.12.2020,
the cost per marking code is 68 UZS (excluding VAT).
