Pilot Project for the Digital Marking of Vegetable Oils: Objectives, Participation Procedure, and Methodological Guidelines

To prepare for the introduction of digital labeling of vegetable oils in the Republic of Uzbekistan, a pilot project is being implemented to test product labeling processes and the interaction of supply chain participants with the National Product Labeling and Traceability Information System, "ASL BELGISI".

Participation in the pilot project enables manufacturers, importers, and other supply chain participants to familiarize themselves with the system's functionality in advance, test their internal business processes, identify the most suitable technical solutions for applying labeling codes, and gain practical experience with the system before mandatory requirements come into force.

The results of the pilot project will be used to assess the effectiveness of the existing processes, identify organizational and technical aspects, and further improve the mechanisms for digital labeling and product traceability.

Attached to this article are the methodological guidelines, which provide an overview of the fundamental principles of digital labeling, the labeling code lifecycle, the functionality of the participant's personal account, and step-by-step instructions for performing the main operations within the ASL BELGISI system.
