In case of expiration of the valid electronic digital signature (EDS) of a non-resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan, according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 413 dated July 29, 2022 “On Approval of the Regulations on the Procedure of Issuing Electronic Digital Signatures through Consular Offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abroad”, the electronic digital signature is provided to foreign legal entities by diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the territory of the country of the holder of the registration certificate:
1. Application for EDS;
2. The original identity document (checked by the consular official and returned to the applicant), as well as the document on the assignment of the personal identification number of an individual (PINI);
3. Notarized letter of a legal entity indicating the full name and taxpayer identification number of the legal entity issued by the Tax Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan (900,000,000);
4. Notarized power of attorney (certified in the territory of the country of the holder of the registration certificate) for the authorized person, signed by the head of the foreign legal entity - holder of the registration certificate, together with the seal of the foreign legal entity;
5. Registration Certificate of the State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Devices and Medical Equipment of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
6. Receipt of payment of the consular fee in the specified amount and reimbursement of actual expenses.
The grounds for refusal to accept documents from an applicant for an EDS key certificate by a consular office are:
• incomplete filing;
• submission of forged documents;
• failure to pay the consular fee for the issuance of an EDS key certificate.
After the actual verification of the data provided by the applicant, the EDS password will be sent by the authorized body in the form of an e-mail to the e-mail address specified in the application. The e-mail address specified in the application may be changed or the EDS private key password may be sent again on the basis of direct application of the EDS private key holder to the consular office.
