General Information

By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 04/08/2025 No. 203, the procedure for implementing mandatory digital labeling of mineral fertilizers and chemical plant protection products has been approved.

The labeling is introduced to increase transparency in trade turnover, counteract illegal production and import of products, ensure product traceability, and confirm the authenticity of goods.

Implementation timelines:
Pilot project	Start — May 1, 2025	End — October 31, 2025
Mandatory digital labeling:	Start of mandatory labeling — May 1, 2026
