The status of a marking code is the current state of the life cycle of a specific marking code (MC) assigned to a product in the digital marking system. It reflects the stage at which the code is located, from its emission to its withdrawal from circulation.

Description of marking code statuses:

🟡RECEIVED — Received
The marking code has been created in the system (emitted) but has not yet been applied to the product packaging. This status allows the circulation participant to prepare for applying the marking code to the product packaging and to use the codes in the "Applying MC" operation.

🟡 APPLIED (1) — Applied
The marking code has been applied to the product but has not yet been introduced into circulation. Codes in such statuses may be used in operations such as "Aggregation of MC" or "Formation of AIC."

🟢 INTRODUCED (2) — In circulation
A product with a code in the "Introduced into circulation" status is available for sale. A code in such a status can be used during transfer via an electronic invoice or during retail sale via a receipt issued through a cash register (CRM).

🔴 WRITTEN_OFF (3) — Out of circulation
The code has been written off as a result of disposal or loss of integrity. This may occur during the destruction of a product, detection of defects, expiration of shelf life, or violation of the integrity of transport packaging (Disaggregation). Such a product no longer participates in economic circulation.
Starting from April 15, 2025, the registration of the "Report on write-off (rejection) of marking codes" and "Notifications of withdrawal from circulation of marked goods" is carried out through the personal account in the Tax Committee system.

🔴 WITHDRAWN (4) — Written off
The product has been sold to the final consumer or withdrawn from circulation for other reasons (for example, during export or upon notification of withdrawal from circulation). The status records the completion of the life cycle of the marking code.
