All document exchange between the operator of NIS "Asl Belgisi" and the participant of goods turnover is done electronically. In order to exchange documents electronically, it is possible to connect to the API of NIS "Asl Belgisi".

Principles of interaction with API of NIS "Asl Belgisi"
Electronic interaction with the labeling system is carried out in one of two ways:
- Submission of information is an exchange of electronic documents on the basis of which changes can be made to the registers of NIS "Asl Belgisi". Submission of information is mandatory.
- Request for information - an exchange in which information from NIS "Asl Belgisi" registers is provided to participants in accordance with the established authorizations for obtaining information. At the same time, no changes are made to the registers. The request and subsequent submission of information from the marking system is initiated by the participant at its own discretion and is used, for example, to check the status of marking codes or the registration status of the participant.
Electronic digital signature is used for legally significant electronic documents. Electronic interaction is carried out using program interaction interfaces (API) of NIS "Asl Belgisi" and information systems of participants of goods turnover.
Requirements for working with API of NIS "Asl Belgisi"
The following requirements are met when communicating via API:
- Authentication and authorization of the participant (determination of powers to carry out electronic interaction) is carried out by means of EDS.
- When providing and requesting information, the protection of transmitted data is performed using the TLS/HTTPS protocol by encrypting the data transmission channel with certified means of cryptographic protection of information.
