The user type determines how a user interacts with the system and defines their permissions and work scenarios.
The system provides two types of users:
User Type | Description |
Business User | Allows working on behalf of an organization through the system’s web interface. |
Technical User | Enables interaction with the system on behalf of an organization via the API. |
The "User Type" parameter is set when filling out the "General Information" block in the participant profile section – "Add User" ⬇️
⚠️ Key Features:
Business User
- At least one business user must be registered in the system.
- Login to the Business User's Personal Account is done using a digital signature (EDS).
- The business user does not have access to the API.
- There is no limit to the number of business users in the system.
Technical User
- Does not have access to the system’s web interface.
- Used for API authentication and has distinct role selection capabilities compared to the business user. (Learn more about role assignment)
- The identifier (login) is generated automatically.
- The password is set during user activation. (Learn more about adding a user)
- Password reset is done by blocking and reactivating the technical user.
- Each organization (UOT) can create one or more technical users — for example, for different software products or production sites.
- There is no limit to the number of technical users.
